They are also linked to Fire Protection Systems to ensure the system function safely during fire condition that is the system may force all doors to open in fire condition to facilitate people living the premises quickly & safely.

Most Access Control Systems implemented today are IP-based & are connected to the building’s Local Area Network thus reducing cabling cost.
